Medical Insurance cover varies in nature and scope.  Basically, it will cover the expenses incurred with relation to medical treatment, surgery, prescription drugs.  Such expenses include  hospital stay, consultation, emergency transportation and the like.  Territorial limits vary according to the plan which you chose, but options range from cover in Saudi Arabia only up to worldwide cover.  Hospital class is also an option, from clinics to higher grade hospitals.  The criteria depends on the Plan which the Policyholder decided to purchase.

Individual Life Insurance

There are various life insurance policies which are designed for individuals.  The most common policies include :

Term Life :

Payment of the sum insured upon death provided death occurs within a specified period.

Whole Life :

Payment of the sum insured upon death when ever the death occurs.  Policy will be valid for the lifetime of the Policyholder.

Endowment :

The sum assured is payable in the event of death within a specified period of years.  If the Policyholder survives at the end of the specified period, the sum assured will also be paid. This policy serves as an investment or guarantee for loans or mortgages.
